At any time of the year Whitby is beautiful with it's busy harbour, long sandy beach and the famous 199 Steps leading up to the Abbey ruins which date back to the 7th Century. Whitby is an ideal setting for exploring the North Yorkshire Moors too. Belemnite Cottage offers the perfect apartment for enjoying this area all-year round - not just for summer. It has central heating throughout and a woodburner making it cosy and warm for those wild autumn and chilly winter days. There's always something happening throughout the town, with festivals and fairs are held throughout the year. These include Whitby Folk Week and the Whitby Regatta, and there are two popular Goth festivals each year.
